The Red GuitarsPlaying a mixture of punk, blues, electric folk and African rhythms, the Red Guitars built a loyal national following in the early 1980s. In 1982, the band recorded their first single "Good Technology". In keeping with the band's anti-corporate stance, they released the single on their own record label, Self Drive Records, and sold over 60,000 copies. The next three singles also topped the national indie charts as did their 1984 debut LP "Slow to Fade".
This compilation includes the early singles and the first album.
