This is one product that caught our attention straight away. If you have children or know of relatives or friends who do (is that most of you?) you'll understand the need for a truly effective treatment. The situation is so bad in our schools that The Sunday Times (London) reported that Ministers have considered putting Nit Nurses back into the schools! We have twin girls who haven't had this problem since July of 1999.
Biz Niz is non-toxic (no organophosphates), non-flammable and contains five essential oils - Citronella, Geranium, Eucalyptus, Lavender and Rosemary. It has been used safely on children with asthma and eczema in consultation with a GP.
Each bottle contains 3 courses of 4 applications as a leave-in conditioner (non-oil based solution). It's one thing getting rid of the little beasts in the first place but quite another thing KEEPING them away! So, we highly recommend you use Biz Niz as a preventative leave-in conditioner, as many parents do, since it is so gentle and pleasant smelling. Just comb a small amount through the hair prior to setting off for school each morning! Each bottle contains approximately 6 months worth of repellent.
Biz Niz won the Natural Product News award for Best New Product 1998; featured in Dr John Briffa's Daily Mail column on 12th July 1999; recommended in Susan Clark's Sunday Times column, What's the Alternative, on 5 Aug 2001 and 25 May 2003, again in Dr Briffa's column in the Sunday Observer Magazine, 12 September 2004, and now in Jennifer Harper Deacon's column in the Sunday Times, 27th April 2008.
